Requirements for Licensing
Licenses are available to Qualified Coaches and Career Professionals. In the context of these licensing programs, the terms Qualified Coach and Qualified Career Professional are defined below.

Anyone who has been certified by the ICF (International Coach Federation) at the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) level or above.

Anyone who has been certified by the IAC (International Association of Coaches) and has logged a minimum of 100 coaching hours.

Anyone who has graduated from a reputable School of Coaching and has logged a minimum of 100 coaching hours.

Anyone who has graduated from a Coaching degree program offered by an accredited university or college AND has logged a minimum of 100 coaching hours.

Anyone certified by the ICC (Institute of Career Certification) at the Career Management Practitioner (CMP) level or above.

Anyone who possesses a Masters Degree in counseling, psychology or related fields AND has at least 100 hours of experience working with clients in the career field.

Anyone who, regardless of education, can demonstrate that they have been working professionally in the career field for a minimum of two (2) years. Professional here includes being compensated for career-related work, whether as an independent coach or consultant, or as an employee of a company or educational or nonprofit organization.
